Nominations are now open for 2020 CPB Canada Board of Directors

The Nominations Committee of CPB Canada, in accordance with the organization’s by-laws (Section 5), is seeking candidates with established business expertise to join CPB Canada ‘s Board of Directors. This year, we are seeking nominations for four (4) three-year positions (October 2020 – September 2023).

Deadline: by July 28, 2020 at 5:00 pm ET. 

The role of CPB Canada Directors is to foster development of the organization by governing and, working together with the CEO, establish and oversee the strategic direction of CPB Canada. As a result, directors have the opportunity to:

• apply their skills and expertise to help develop CPB Canada
• gain experience and new skills to further their professional and personal development
• advocate for the bookkeeping profession in Canada.

Any member in good standing can nominate another member or themselves, provided such names are submitted in the prescribed form and the proposed candidate meets the nomination criteria. A nominee must be a member in good standing of CPB Canada and have been a CPB Canada Certified Professional Bookkeeper (CPB) in good standing for a minimum of 2-years.
