When you join CPB Canada, you understand that all CPB Canada members must adhere to our Code of Ethics & Professional Conduct and that membership fees are not refundable or transferable.
*A student is a full-time student at a designated educational institution.
If the student is taking courses online, they will only be considered to be in full-time attendance if the program requires them to be in virtual attendance on a full-time basis for classes and other course-related activities.

Membership Categories
Certified Member:
A Certified Member is any individual in full or part-time practice in the accounting profession who holds the Certified Professional Bookkeeper (CPB) designation.
Non-Certified Member:
A Non-Certified Member is any individual in full or part-time practice in the accounting profession who does not hold the Certified Professional Bookkeeper (CPB) designation.
Affiliate Member:
An Affiliate Member is any individual who is not in full or part-time practice in the accounting profession but holds a professional interest in the bookkeeping/accounting field or the Institute's mission. i.e., students, educators, sponsors, government.
