This pre-recorded session will discuss what it means to be classified as a PSB, especially as a result of a reassessment. It carries significant negative consequences for a taxpayer, potentially leaving them with a debilitating cash-flow problem. Joe will help with understanding the rules, how to communicate with clients, and take measures to accurately report the income while mitigating risk and exposure.
This is a panel discussion on managing the tax workload. Helpful advice on how to make decisions on workload, volume and the risks or ethical concerns with accepting new clients and the context for certain returns.
30 Minute Lunch Break
This presentation will highlight key differences and their effects on the impact of tax on dispositions. Attendees will gain practical insights to navigate these changes and optimize their investment decisions.
This session will help bookkeepers revisit the processes they know with an eye to what the tax preparer is looking for. It will go over the general items for the most common elements of the balance sheet and key risks on the income statement. It will help them determine what they might need to take a deeper look at or consider before sending the information to the tax preparer in order to facilitate a smooth transition and accurate tax filing.
15 Minute Break
Cloud-based tax software is here and it provides many benefits. This session will demonstrate how you can easily create, prepare, and file tax returns using the latest technology. If your clients use QuickBooks Online, the process is even easier, offering a full books-to-tax workflow with Pro Tax, including a year-end review and financial statement preparation in addition to tax filing.
