What Type Of Education Institutions/Programs Are Eligible To Partner?

If you are a Government of Canada's Designated Educational Institution, you are eligible to register your program with CPB Canada.

What Are The Education Program Requirements In Order To Qualify?

Program instructors must complete an application form, agreeing that the submitted program(s) curriculum will cover Bookkeeping Competencies at the Apprentice or Technician level.

How Do Students Benefit From This Program?

Students have access to become an "Affiliate Student" member for just $50 per year. Upon successful completion of the approved program, graduates will have the work experience requirements waived at the Apprentice or Technician level.

What Education Benefits Do Students Have Access To That Can Help Them Succeed In Their Program?

Student Affiliate membership provides approved students with access to the CPB Canada on-demand webinar library, Regional Meetings, and Career Centre. Proof of enrollment is required.

What Happens When Students Complete Their Education Program?

Upon successful completion of the program, verified graduates will need to become or convert to Non-Certified members of CPB Canada. Graduates are then eligible to apply at the program's equivalent Certification Pathway level to have the work experience requirement waived. The entry test must be passed with an 80% or higher mark. We have created information sheets that lay out the benefits and pathways for students who choose an Apprentice or Technician level program.
