Stephanie Mongrain
Stephanie Mongrain is a payroll and human resources professional specializing in payroll implementations. She entered the payroll field by happenstance in 1999 when she secured a position at Ceridian, a global human capital management company, and has held various positions within the organization in the 23+ years since joining the team. Her breadth of experience ranges across all industries, provinces/territories, and organizational structures, with a specific focus on companies with up to 2,000 employees.  Stephanie is currently the Senior Manager of one of Ceridian’s customer support and implementation teams, a rewarding position that provides constant challenges and change.

In 2008, Stephanie earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Calgary, the first two years of which were completed at Mount Royal University. Along the way, she also obtained the National Payroll Institute (NPI) Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) designation and the Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation from CPHR Alberta.  She also volunteers with the NPI as a Subject Matter Expert.

As an Educator for the National Payroll Institute, Stephanie instructed courses in the Payroll Compliance Practitioner and Certified Payroll Manager Programs in the Faculty of Continuing Education and Extension at Mount Royal University from 200
