How to Build Relationships with Accountants

This session is designed for new bookkeepers or bookkeepers that have struggled with building relationships with accountants.

Speaker: Lynne Moore, CPB

With an eye for detail and a passion for finding solutions, Lynne has been working with business owners for more than 30 years and specifically as a bookkeeper for 25 years.

Her experience with a variety of industries is broad and diverse, including but not limited to; not-for-profit, IT, marketing, and employment agencies. More than just complementing my strong capabilities and passion for working with numbers, her professional contributions to these industries has been key in the development and progression of my bookkeeping business.

Lynne has a passion for helping others, using her education, hands-on skills, and knowledge. After starting her own business, she discovered a new perspective and was able to provide more help to business owners than ever before. She am a goal-setter and a go-getter, and using goals to guide her career (both as an employee and a business owner) helps her see the big picture and ensure that she is bringing value to whomever has engaged her professional services. She is very aware of being true to herself, if she is not doing both in all endeavours she undertakes, then it is time to make a change. Lynne brings this same focus to all opportunities.

Wow Your Accountant

In this session we will go over the processes we do at King Business Solutions when preparing our year ends for the accountant and this year we are bringing one of our CPA’s with us to answer your questions on how to give the best year end. This will be an interactive session, so come ready with questions you have for accountants. We will also have documents to share with participants.

Speaker: Melissa Lenos, CPB, PCP

In 2009, Melissa followed her dream and started a bookkeeping firm called King Accounting Solutions. It has grown to more than just bookkeeping and now includes human resources, corporate and personal income tax and much more. With these additions we also re-branded to King Business Solutions!

Melissa is very proud of the growth at KBS, having 10 staff who live in Manitoba and Alberta and growing. They do bookkeeping from coast to coast in Canada, seeing all the different taxes. She is a CPB and PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) and also sit on a local board for their downtown as the treasurer. Other time is spent on the board of CPB as a director at large.

When not working, She loves to travel and golf, so you might catch her out of the office from time to time.
