Speaker: Laurel Williamson, Channel Partner Manager for Western Canada at Dayforce
Laurel’s entrepreneurial spirit started early — by age six, she was collecting bottles and raking leaves as start-up business. That drive continued into her 20s, when she launched her first business: a candle kiosk, where she handled all her own bookkeeping before eventually hiring professionals to help.
Inspired by that experience, Laurel formally pursued bookkeeping and built a successful firm of her own. Her very first client used Powerpay — and 4 years ago, Powerpay invited her to join the team.
Today, Laurel is the Channel Partner Manager for Western Canada at Dayforce where she supports accountants, bookkeepers, and their clients with tools that make payroll easier and more profitable. Still actively running her own firm, Laurel brings a rare dual perspective — one that helps her truly understand and advocate for the needs of her partners.
