BC Sunshine Coast - Regional Network Meeting - Celebrating Bookkeepers on the Sunshine Coast - In Person

January 23, 2025

6:00 PM - 8:00 PM PST

Info

This will be a fun night where we will be introducing you to a wide variety of apps available to you as a bookkeeper / business owner and the many types of jobs or industries the apps are most suited to!

Whether you are a new and upcoming bookkeeper, a seasoned bookkeeper, or work within local companies as their sole bookkeeper or accountant, this is an opportunity to learn a little about the variety of specific tools available to assist you in your role as a bookkeeper.

“There’s a solution for almost anything in the accounting space, so it’s a matter of putting it all together in a way that works for you and your clients.”

Apps are meant to save time by automating repetitive tasks, tracking information in more detail, providing transparency and enhancing our skillset as bookkeepers. The distinction between what apps can do and the core function of bookkeeping is key. Regardless of how much apps have evolved, interpreting complex financial scenarios, ensuring compliance, making strategic decisions, and having a personal touch is where we shine.

With apps in the cloud, the requirement for strong cybersecurity protocols is imperative. We will only touch on this, but you will go away with a list of questions to ask and “who” to ask, and best practices to assist you in your tech journey.

Yes, Apps can be fun, so join us to learn more about the options and how to shop for them!
