Presenter: Shannon Smith

Shannon is an easygoing and positive person whose caring nature allows people to feel comfortable in her presence. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts General from the University of Ottawa in 2000, followed by a Bachelor in Education in 2001. Her teaching experience includes time in Seoul, South Korea, South-Eastern Ontario, Singapore, as well as Calgary. She also has experience working in the real estate appraisal business in the 1000 Islands region of Ontario.

Shannon moved to Calgary from Singapore in 2009 and has been employed at Rundle College Primary School, a private school in Calgary, since then. She strongly believes in developing a “family” atmosphere at school. Shannon is a conscientious, hard-working teacher with leadership, organizational and communication skills.

Shannon is very passionate about the health and fitness industry. Shannon is currently the President and co-owner of a one-on-one health coaching business, Koko Fitness. She brings the CEO’s vision to life within the company infrastructure. Builds sustainable culture and scalable training as the company grows. Representative of the staff and their needs to ensure they execute the vision. Runs team meetings. Supports staff in their duties of delivering professional customer service.

Acquisition of new customers through marketing initiatives ensuring new people continue to apply to participate in our program. She is the online face of the company. She is an exceptionally dedicated professional, and her commitment to the success of Koko Fitness clients is exemplary.

 

Meeting Agenda
•    Informal networking and meal service from 5:00pm-6:30pm (each attendee is responsible for their meal tab)
•    CPB Canada announcements and attendee introductions 6:30pm
•    Presentation – 7pm – 8pm
•    Informal networking and meeting adjournment 8pm-8:30pm
