Join us for a focused session on how Canadian bookkeepers can take control of tax payments and stay one step ahead of ever-changing CRA requirements. We’ll discuss practical strategies for setting up and managing T1, T2, payroll, and HST payments—highlighting common pitfalls such as missed notices and late remittances.

Drawing on real-world examples of how firms track CRA communications, we’ll explore how proactive monitoring and automation can free you from last-minute scrambles, reduce penalties, and keep clients happy.

Presenter: Aaron Gould

Aaron Gould is the Lead Product Engineer for the TaxPay team, driven by a passion for automation, AI, and efficient workflows. Although formally trained in mechanical engineering, Aaron has built his career in software, creating cutting-edge automation solutions across industries—from commercial HVAC systems to Canadian Army mission systems and NATO missile defence exercise planning and data acquisition tools. His diverse background fuels a unique perspective on how technology can revolutionize day-to-day bookkeeping and tax payment processes.

 

Meeting Format:



  • Informal networking and meal service 6:00 pm (each attendee is responsible for their meal tab)
  • Zoom meeting begins at 7:15 pm
  • Presentation - 7:15 pm to 8:15 pm
  • Questions and informal networking - 8:15 to 8:30 pm
