Presenter: Leonardo Ventola Deornelas
Leonardo Deornelas is originally from Brazil and has a strong academic background in languages and linguistics. He holds a degree in Modern Languages and a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics. For many years, he worked as a professor in Brazil. In 2015, Leonardo moved to Canada, where he expanded his expertise by studying Sales and Marketing at Red River College in Winnipeg.
He began his career at Telpay as a Customer Service Representative, showcasing his commitment to providing exceptional service. His dedication and skill allowed him to transition into a role as a Small Business Sales Representative, where he excelled at building relationships and driving sales. Leonardo's performance led him to advance to a Corporate Sales Representative position and, ultimately, to be promoted to Sales Manager. In this role, he now leads and motivates a team to achieve outstanding results. Leonardo has successfully combined his passion for languages with his business skills throughout his career, leveraging his diverse expertise to thrive in various roles within Telpay.

- Informal networking and meal service from 5:00pm-6:30pm (each attendee is responsible for their meal tab)
- Zoom session begins at 6:15pm
- CPB Canada announcements and attendee introductions 6:30pm
- Presentation – 7pm – 8pm
- Informal networking and meeting adjournment 8pm-8:30pm
