Does even the thought of getting your home, office, or life organized feel overwhelming?
Or maybe you’ve attempted to get organized before but it doesn’t seem to stick?
In this session, Corrie, of One Space at a Time Professional Organizing will explain the connection between clutter/disorganization and well-being and highlight some of the most common myths and unhelpful thoughts contributing to difficulties getting organized. She will discuss helpful steps for building motivation to change and some guiding principles on how to effectively declutter and organize.
A 5-step process for getting organized will be shared, along with examples to help people think about how to apply the process to their own space and life.
Speaker: Corrie Goldfinger
Corrie Goldfinger (she/her) is a prior mental health care professional who transitioned into the world of professional organizing to support people’s journey toward a more functional and calm life. Her background helps her understand how people’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviour impact their ability to achieve their decluttering and organizing goals.
Corrie is the owner and operator of One Space at a Time Professional Organizing, and is a Trained Professional Organizer through the Professional Organizers in Canada. She supports people with the process of decluttering and organizing in their homes and offices in Burlington, Hamilton, and Oakville, Ontario. Corrie likes to refer to herself as an anti-perfectionist organizer, helping people let go of their own ideas about perfection with respect to the process and outcomes of getting organized. She strives to incorporate her value of environmental sustainability into her work with clients and as a business owner.
