AB Edmonton - Regional Meeting - Bridging the Payroll Gap: Demonstrating Value Through Client Education - In Person

October 15, 2025

5:00 PM - 8:30 PM MDT

Info

In today’s fast-paced business environment, payroll service providers must navigate intricate regulations while proving their indispensable value to clients. The reality is, “Clients don’t know what they don’t know”—until it’s too late and CRA comes knocking. This interactive roundtable session will explore strategies for identifying and addressing client payroll knowledge gaps, showcasing your expertise and preventing "client payroll panics" before they arise. By bridging these gaps, you can strengthen client relationships and elevate your professional reputation.

Note: Due to the time and complexity of this topic, Wagepoint products will not be demonstrated during the meeting.

Learning objectives

  • Identify common client knowledge gaps: Learn how to recognize the most prevalent areas where clients lack understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and responsibilities.
  • Develop strategies to educate and empower clients: Gain insights into effective ways to communicate complex payroll topics in a clear and actionable manner, fostering informed decision-making.
  • Showcase your expertise and value: Discover methods to position yourself as a trusted advisor by bridging knowledge gaps, improving client relationships, and reinforcing the importance of your role in their success.
