Why are you seeking election to the CPB Canada Board, and what do you think you bring?
I think the CPB board could benefit from a different perspective that will enhance the overall experience of our members. For me, I want to be the change we need to see, not sit on the sidelines hoping that aspects could be improved. I know I can and will make a difference!
As a fellow business owner, I bring the reality of situations to the forefront and will advocate thus to the board. I have been on a governance board for the past 5 years and am also the treasurer of this large not-for-profit. Prior to that, I was on a Charity Board. With the breadth of this practical experience, I am confident that the CPB board is the place to give back to our own community and drive initiatives forward.
