Share on:

CPB Canada announces the selection of Conestoga College to partner and administers this bursary program for its inaugural year.

Alan Salmon, FCPB, was a well-known friend and contributing member of Canada's professional accounting and bookkeeping community.

Highly respected by CPB Canada and its members, Alan served on the CPB Canada Board of Directors for several years and contributed to CPB Canada's endeavours and successes.

The recipient of many awards himself, to honour Alan's legacy, his commitment and contributions to professional learning and development, and his family, CPB Canada is pleased to commit a total of $2,500 annually to two well-deserving individuals on their path to a rewarding accounting and bookkeeping career.

Among other criteria, the recipient of this bursary must be enrolled full-time (1 year) in Conestoga's Bookkeeping (1271) program.

Directed individual and charitable tax receipt contributions to this bursary are welcomed by Conestoga College via their Donate Now secure online giving; select "Student Awards" from the drop-down selections, and specify "CPB Canada – Alan Salmon Memorial Bursary" in the "Comments" field.
