CEO Update - November 2023 - CPB Canada remains as busy as ever

Share on:

CPB Canada remains as busy as ever. Over the last month, we concluded the IGNITE Conference and held our Virtual Annual General Meeting. And yet, more is on the way!

National Bookkeeping Survey

Next week, CPB Canada will share a PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Consulting survey to help collect first-hand data from bookkeepers across Canada. This data will fuel a research study on the state of the profession and its economic impact.

We encourage ALL bookkeepers to take a few minutes to complete it and then share it with other colleagues. Your support will lead to a better final product.

National Bookkeeping Week

Next up, in about two weeks, we will release early registration and information about National Bookkeeping Week in January. There will be a range of FREE virtual and in-person events. These will be open to members and non-members from across the industry to enjoy the following:

  • Five regional celebration events in major metropolitan cities across Canada
  • A live Virtual Keynote Address during the week.
  • A virtual cocktail and networking event using the ever-popular SpatialChat
  • Access various content and sessions that celebrate and raise our community's profile.

Pre-register to ensure you don't miss out on updates and event registrations.

Upcoming Professional Development

CPB Canada will launch a series of professional development opportunities in the coming weeks. You can expect our annual Tax Tune-Up Workshops and a new series of Webinar Wednesday sessions that are free for all CPB Canada members. In addition, we will explore new workshops, ethics seminars, and updated GST/HST webinars in 2024.
