CPB Canada Commissions Canada's Bookkeeping Industry & Economic Study

The Certified Professional Bookkeepers of Canada (CPB Canada) has secured the services of PricewaterhouseCoopers Canada (PwC) to undertake a research study into Canada's Bookkeeping Industry. 

Intuit QuickBooks is supporting CPB Canada as the exclusive sponsor of this research effort. 

This ground-breaking research will examine bookkeepers' role in Canadian society and their economic footprint. This will be done through first-hand research, interviews with bookkeepers and the businesses that employ them, and an industry-wide survey. 
 
The Survey is scheduled to be released to the industry in 3-4 weeks.
 
We encourage ALL practicing bookkeepers (not just CPB Canada members) in Canada to watch for and complete this national survey. A large response rate will facilitate a deeper level of research and analysis.  
 
With PwC, CPB Canada is engaging a global leader in consulting and research services who will provide a clearer picture of our growing and evolving profession.

CPB Canada calls on all its industry partners to help share/distribute the survey within their respective networks/communities.
 
We expect the release of the research study to coincide with National Bookkeeping Week, January 15 – 19, 2024.
