Reflections from our Chair

Being in the bookkeeping industry for over 25 years, I never thought the world would be where it is today. And we, as a community of accounting professionals, have risen to the challenge - stepping up to help our clients and employers from coast to coast to coast.

Our members have engaged in countless hours of learning and connected virtually with peers, coming together to support small businesses.  Our new Talk Tuesday webinars have evolved from being a place to find peer support, in the early days of uncertainty, to an initiative that connects bookkeepers and accountants from across Canada, helping them to navigate and understand the new government programs that provide financial support for small business. In a matter of a few short months, we have learned how to navigate CERB, TWSE, CEWS, CEBA, and more, supporting small businesses and helping them run smoothly - which is especially important during these challenging times.

I am also very proud of the CPB Canada team who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes over the past months to bring our strategic vision to life. I couldn’t be more excited to announce our long-awaited rebrand and the launch of our new website.

We are poised and ready to further strengthen our membership, forge meaningful connections, and provide the next generation of bookkeeping professionals with the tools they need to innovate and learn.
