CEO Update - Why Are 2,000 Members Important?

Share on:

This past month, CPB Canada achieved a new milestone in reaching 2000 members nationwide.

With this significant step, our professional community is making a bold statement. To represent a membership of this size - it says to outside observers (i.e. government, the small business community etc.) that our bookkeeping community is both legitimate and influential. Additionally, our leadership around self-regulation represents a deep commitment to professional standards and growth.

Our collective voice grows with each new member who joins. The greater our community, the stronger voice we can represent for bookkeepers and accountants.

We have invested strongly in member value to help us grow this membership base. Our ROI for members is unmatched. We have thousands of dollars of free professional development for members and tangible business savings through our VIB advantage program. Cost savings aside, joining gives you access to a growing professional community and strengthens our role as Canada's national certifying body for bookkeepers.

I want to thank our members - those who have joined recently and those who remain loyal members. We will continue to work and support your professional journey.

Together, steadily, we are becoming a force and a presence. We own the professional standards of the bookkeeping profession in Canada. By doing so, we hope to cement itself as an attractive and widely respected career path for a new generation of accountants.
