Job Description
What you’ll do • Manage a portfolio of clients using monthly processes which include transaction processing, reconciliations, financial reporting reviews and communication with clients • Tax filings such as GST/HST, PST, Corp Tax Installments • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance accounting systems, processes and controls • Participate in the adoption of new technologies that best support our client’s business needs • Implement changes that will support a move to paperless record keeping • Provide information that will allow for improved and enhanced decision making What you’ll need • College Diploma or University Degree in accounting and/or bookkeeping. • Proficiency using QuickBooks Online • Multiple years of experience performing full cycle accounting responsibilities • Excellent communication skills • Ability to work in a hybrid or fully remote environment • Experience preparing and/or compiling financial information • Ability to adapt and work with new software and technologies Other experience that would be considered an asset: • Experience processing payroll would be considered an asset • Experience performing financial analysis
