With nearly 30 years of experience in bookkeeping across a diverse range of industries, I bring a strong blend of expertise, adaptability, and leadership to the profession. For over a decade, I led the bookkeeping department at a local accounting firm, where I developed streamlined systems and supported a wide variety of client needs. In December 2020, I took the leap and launched my own practice, and since then, I’ve grown the business into a thriving team of five, proudly serving clients across British Columbia.
Beyond day-to-day operations, I’m deeply committed to fostering community within the bookkeeping profession. As the current Regional Network Chair for CPB Canada, I take pride in organizing and leading local meetings that offer connection, learning, and support for fellow bookkeepers.
My experience also extends to governance and volunteer leadership, having served as Treasurer on the boards of the Canadian Mental Health Association – Prince George Branch, the Prince George Track and Field Association, and my local BNI chapter. I value the opportunity to contribute, collaborate, and help strengthen organizations from the inside out.
As my kids get older and more independent, I’m finding that I have more time to explore the things I enjoy, although I’m still figuring out exactly what those are! So far, they include spending quality time with my husband and our three energetic dogs and embracing the freedom to discover new interests along the way.
