Diandra Whymns, CPB, PCP
Director

Born and raised in the Bahamas, I came to Canada in 2005 to further my education in accounting. After obtaining my BBA from Acadia University, I worked primarily in public accounting firms where I worked with various businesses and industries and gained most of my bookkeeping experience.

With over a decade of experience under my belt, I decided to take a leap of faith and start my bookkeeping business in 2018 and Spring Point Consulting was born. Becoming an entrepreneur has allowed me to not only follow my passion and work with numbers but also to nurture real human connections with my clients and fellow bookkeepers.

My education/professional designations include the CPB designation from CPB Canada, the PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) with the National Payroll Institute, and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Acadia University.

During my time at Acadia, I served as the International Student Representative and held a seat on the University's Board of Governors. Through that experience and my experience as an entrepreneur, I learned many skills that will serve me as a member of CPB's Board of Directors if elected such as communicating effectively across various demographics, governance protocols and how to make informed decisions.

When I'm not working, you can find me hanging out with my kids or reading a good book.
