Wendy Dodman, CPB
Wendy Dodman has been in business for herself for the last 4 years. She has been in the accounting field for the last 22 years. She received her Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in accounting in 1997 and earned her CPB designation in October 2017. She is currently the Regional Network Chair for the Red Deer area. She has been married for 36 years with 3 children and 7 grandchildren and lives in Penhold, Alberta.
Wendy's volunteer work includes Treasurer at the Penhold Museum Society and the Penhold Senior Centre.
Education/Professional Designations
Certified Professional Bookkeeper (CPB) and has a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting).

I love working with numbers, I love talking with my clients to solve their business bookkeeping problems and I feel I am an approachable person as I try to determine if all applicable actions are considered before one is chosen to solve the problem.

Passion is a key driver when it comes to being a CPB Canada leader, ambassador, and effective advocate for the bookkeeping community. Tell us a little bit about your passion for CPB Canada
My passion is to give back to the bookkeeping profession and CPB Canada by ensuring everyone is heard and all ideas are considered. If there is an issue that I really believe in, I would do my best to show the other members its merit. Getting to know the other members is very exciting, valuing their opinion and upholding the integrity of CPB Canada is of utmost importance to me.
What are your personal dreams or aspirations that could be enhanced by service on our board?
My aspirations would be that what we do as a board has a positive impact on the growth of the profession.
