CPB Canada Financial Statements

A message from the CPB Canada Board of Directors
Certified Professional Bookkeepers (CPB Canada), legally known as the Institute of Professional Bookkeepers of Canada, is a national, not-for-profit organization run by an all-volunteer Board of Directors on behalf of its members. The Board sets policies and procedures and monitors the budget and expenditures. We expect to be held to the highest standards of accountability, and we work diligently to ensure that all funds that we raise are allocated wisely to bring the greatest value to our members.

In compliance with the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act (NFP Act), these financial statements are reviewed (Unaudited) by a professional accountant (CPA) in accordance with Canadian generally accepted standards for review engagements and are presented in accordance with Canadian accounting standards for not-for-profit organizations. We believe in transparency, not only for our members but also for the bookkeeping and accounting industries in general. That is why we have posted our financial statements on the public portion of our website. We want everyone to know that we are a thriving, growing organization and that we spend every dollar that comes in to create value for our members.

CPB Canada is the largest bookkeeping association in Canada. We are also the only bookkeeping association in Canada to make our financial statements publicly available on our website.
