Here is what some of the new CPBs had to say about earning their designation:

Robina Achal, CPB

“After decades of being a Corporate Paralegal, becoming a Certified Professional Bookkeeper has been one of the most rewarding milestones in my career. The CPB designation not only validated my technical expertise in accounting and bookkeeping but also gave me the confidence to provide clients with accurate, ethical, and professional financial services. I’m proud to be part of a community that values integrity, precision, and professionalism.”

Kathryn Luttin, CPB*

Achieving the CPB designation is a big milestone for me. I’ve been wanting to do this for some time and I’m so glad I finally made it happen. I think it’s really important to have this kind of certification, since bookkeeping is not a regulated profession and so people may be working as such, but be unaware of their knowledge gaps. Achieving the CPB designation gives me (and my clients) the confidence that I have the required knowledge and skills for this work. As a sole practitioner, it’s also very helpful to be part of a network of bookkeepers and have access to continuing education resources and support.

Jessica Fider, CPB

“Joining CPB is by far the best decision I’ve made in my entire professional career. With more than 15 years of accounting experience overseas, including 7 years here in Canada, earning the Certified Professional Bookkeeper Designation has given me a great sense of pride. It validates my knowledge and skills, not only in my current role but also in serving the general public.

I am committed to continuously learning, growing, and staying updated with industry trends through this wonderful organization. I’m truly grateful for this journey and excited to contribute to CPB community with sincerity, passion, and wholehearted dedication.”

Faridhusen Mansuri, CPB

“Becoming a Certified Professional Bookkeeper is a milestone that reflects years of dedication to accuracy, compliance, and client trust. This designation strengthens my commitment to supporting Canadian businesses with professional bookkeeping services and innovative financial solutions. I’m proud to be part of a community that values integrity and excellence, and I look forward to contributing to the growth and success of our profession.”
