Melissa Lenos is the founder and CEO of King Business Solutions Inc., which she launched in 2009 to deliver exceptional bookkeeping and business solutions. Under her leadership, the firm has grown to include Human Resources and, through a strategic partnership, tax and financial statement services specializing in agriculture. Since 2009, Melissa has also held virtual CFO roles for clients, providing strategic financial oversight and guidance to help businesses thrive.
With over 23 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping, Melissa holds designations as a Certified Professional Bookkeeper (CPB) and Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) and is currently pursuing her Payroll Leadership Professional (PLP) designation with the National Payroll Institute.
Melissa has served on the CPB Canada Board for five years and currently leads as Board Chair. She is committed to advancing the profession through advocacy for certification standards and strategic initiatives that strengthen the industry’s voice across Canada. Her leadership combines technical expertise, adaptability, and a collaborative approach that has guided both her business and her board contributions.
When she is not working, Melissa enjoys traveling—whether visiting family in Holland or hitting the ocean on a cruise ship.
