Margaret has spent over 20 years in various levels of bookkeeping and accounting, most of which in industry, working in service companies, commercial property management, construction and retail. Margaret worked her way up from invoice clerk through the accounting departments of AR, AP, inventory, payroll and full cycle bookkeeping before working as an accounting assistant and subsequently a controller for multiple businesses.
Margaret currently works for a national business services firm in Winnipeg, running a team of bookkeepers and helping hundreds of clients with their bookkeeping and process management needs.
Her focus has always been to help others increase their skills, improve efficiencies and minimize pain points. Margaret thrives in the daily bookkeeping work of businesses and enjoys watching her clients and staff succeed. Her motto is “help others be better.”
Outside of work, her family consists of her husband, son, daughter, a dog and cat. Her hobbies include motorcycle riding, dancing, watching Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Winnipeg Jets.
