Here is what some of the new CPBs had to say about earning their designation:
Olubukunola Eniola, CPB
“I am so proud of passing the CPB exam. CPB pushed me to grow, stay disciplined, and trust in my abilities. Earning this designation is more than an achievement—it’s a milestone that reflects how far I’ve come and how much stronger I am as a professional.”
Holly Peng, CPB
“Ever since attending my first CPB Conference in Winnipeg in 2024, I knew I had found my people. Since then, I vowed to take my certification and earn my official “I belong” stamp of approval. Even though I have always been welcomed with open arms to our monthly chapter meetings and the following year’s conference, it was important to me to show my peers I could do it. 💪
My road to certification was anything but easy, as I struggled very much with studying and the exam itself due to being Autistic and having severe combined type ADHD (so AuDHD), but CPB Canada was very accommodating and helpful, taking my disability and need for a few accommodations very seriously. They were kind and supportive throughout. I am SO proud of myself and this accomplishment! Thank you all, and can’t wait to catch up in Montreal! 🫶”
Adeshola Eniola, CPB
“Earning my CPB designation has been a defining milestone in my bookkeeping career. The journey pushed me to deepen my technical knowledge, refine my professional standards, and gain the confidence to serve clients at a higher level. Being recognized as a Certified Professional Bookkeeper represents my commitment to accuracy, integrity, and lifelong learning in this profession.”
