Wrapping up 2025 with CPB Canada

As we close another remarkable year, let’s take a moment to celebrate our collective achievements and reflect on the strides we’ve made as a community of bookkeeping professionals. Together, we’ve demonstrated resilience, embraced innovation, and reaffirmed our commitment to elevating the standards of our profession.

Highlights from 2025

This year, we grew stronger as a community. The IGNITE Conference in Calgary was a resounding success, sparking valuable industry insights and new collaborations. We prioritized mental health during Mental Health Awareness Week, where Allan Kehler’s impactful keynote reinforced the importance of well-being. National Bookkeeping Week brought vibrant celebrations to Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver, and Mandy Gill’s virtual keynote united members from coast to coast.

Advancing Technology to Support You

We made significant strides in modernizing our technology, starting with the launch of our user-friendly and intuitive new website. We also rolled out a secure credential management tool, an updated learning management system, and an enhanced association management system—all of which will position the association to better serve our growing membership.

While every major systems transition comes with its challenges, I want to express my direct appreciation to those members who showed patience and grace during these upgrades. We look forward to building on this foundation in the year ahead.

A Growing Community, A Shared Mission

We’re proud to have reached 2,500 members this year—a milestone that reflects your trust in CPB Canada. More members than ever are engaging in professional development and pursuing the CPB designation. Let’s keep the momentum going in 2026.

Looking Ahead

As we celebrate this year’s successes, we look ahead with excitement. CPB Canada remains steadfast in our commitment to providing a high-value professional home and community that advances excellence in bookkeeping and supports your continued growth.

Thank you for being an essential part of this incredible community. Wishing you and your loved ones a safe and joyful holiday season.

Cheers,
