Diandra Whymns, CPB, PCP

Originally from the Bahamas, I came to Canada in 2005 to study accounting and quickly found my passion in bookkeeping. Over the past 15+ years, I’ve worked in public practice, supported in-house teams, and even ran my own bookkeeping business. It was these experiences that taught me not just the technical side of the work, but the human side too.

Today, I continue to work as a bookkeeper and am also a licensed Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC-IRB). I love that my two worlds overlap—I get to help other business owners, especially RCICs, better understand their numbers and build confidence in their finances.

I hold the CPB and PCP designations and a BBA from Acadia University, where I also served on the Board of Governors. Within CPB Canada, I’m the Co-Chair of the Ottawa Regional Network and serve on several committees that help shape the future of our profession.

I’m a big believer in lifelong learning, community, and showing up for each other, and I’m proud to contribute to that through my role on the CPB Canada Board.
