IKarolina Francis is the founder of KNF Unified Business Strategies and KNFConsulting4U, a boutique firm based in British Columbia providing controller, bookkeeping, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A) support to small- and mid-sized businesses. She works primarily with small- to medium-sized businesses, helping owners translate day-to-day numbers into clear decisions about pricing, cash flow, growth, and profitability.
Drawing on a strong background in FP&A, financial modelling, and managerial accounting, Karolina builds forward-looking budgets, forecasts, and scenario models that give leaders a strategic view of their business. She is known for designing robust financial systems, job-costing structures, and practical reporting that supports both management and external accountants.
Karolina’s deep commitment to the CPB community stems from her desire to see the CPB designation recognized well beyond the association as a true badge of experience, education, and trusted advice. She is passionate about elevating the designation so that stakeholders outside of CPB see CPBs as the go-to professionals for reliable business guidance and services.
Equally important to her is fostering the next generation of professionals. Karolina is dedicated to mentoring women entrepreneurs and new accounting students, helping them build confidence, practical skills, and a sustainable career path in the profession. She is also actively involved in her local business and school communities as a volunteer and parent leader.
